Millions in Haiti need immediate assistance now – the time to help is now. Medical supplies, food, baby supplies, and personal care products are some of the crucial items needed.
The 7.0 earthquake has left people in desperate need of medical supplies, food, baby supplies, and personal care products. Gleaning For The World and Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia shipped 550,000 meals through one of Gleaning’s partnering organizations working in Haiti. That food is getting distributed now. Hundreds of churches across America are collecting supplies in the next two weeks for Gleaning’s efforts in Haiti. And thanks to partnering industries, many tractor trailer loads of new product donations have been shipped to Gleaning’s warehouse.
Your financial contribution will provide funding needed for transportation, inspection, processing and shipping of these loads to Haiti immediately. And because of Gleaning’s efficiency, your contribution will be multiplied 72 times. In addition – Gleaning will collect supplies and financial contributions at the following locations and times:
- Thomas Road Baptist Church | Lynchburg, VA | 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. throughout week in TRBC Main Street
- Heritage Baptist Church | Lynchburg, VA | 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday in HBC book store entrance
