Pennsylvania Flooding

Flooding throughout Pennsylvania in early September caused mandatory evacuations of over 100,000 people. The Susquehanna River threatened thousands of homes and businesses as it swelled significantly higher than normal flood levels. Gleaning For The World sent four tractor-trailer loads of supplies to the devastated region, which included food, water, blankets and cleaning supplies.

The Faith Aid Network was also in touch with organizations and churches in Harrisburg, PA, Windham, NY  and Johnson City, NY, coordinating supplies and manpower to start distribution when roads  became passable. You can see the Faith Aid Network’s website and updates here.
